When I started collecting vintage Xmas decorations I fell in love with the Shiny Brite ones from the 40s, 50s and 60s. They were a classic American company and their branding was fabulous. Sadly the original company closed in the 1960s when plastic baubles became the fashion. In 2001 they were re-released and although now made in China they have been faithfully copied.

These ones are 1 1/4” in diameter but the painting and designs are based on the originals. They are so well done it’s quite delightful! Each set has 20 glass baubles with metal caps and loops, packed in a replica box. I’m so happy to have these after years of trying to get them shipped to Australia, I have some up in the studio that I’ve been hoarding….
