'Clochard' Hat
This wool felt hat is a fabulous accessory! Made in Germany the ‘Clochard’ or cloche style had is fun and easy to style and wear. The body of the hat is knitted and then felted so it has some stretch and is very comfortable to wear and fits a wide range of head sizes and is very flattering. The hat is moulded to shape and folds back on itself to create the double layer brim and a lining, this lining section can be pulled out scrunched and manipulated on the head to create a sculptural look. Some of our customers have surprised us with the amazing styles they have created with this piece. For the less adventurous it the brim can be worn rolled or the crown can be pushed in for a ‘pork pie’ look. Have a play! It’s the perfect hat to throw in your bag or roll in your pocket!
