The beauty of the Savannah Blanket lies in its subtle and sophisticated design – achieved by varying weave constructions. Each fold of cloth has detailed weave-work, pulled together in a patchwork of pattern and texture.

The overall effect is minimalist and refined, but close inspection brings to life the magic of its delicate details.

Woven with a cotton warp and a linen weft to create a warm yet lightweight blanket that can be enjoyed year round.

Cotton adds softness and an easy drape. Linen brings a subtle natural lustre, breathability and a textural handle.

The Savannah Blanket retains its warmth because of the fibre density, but it feels light enough to use as a summer blanket too. It’s cosy yet lightweight, and with the added breathability of linen, this is a blanket that can be enjoyed through all seasons. – Mungo designer, Lenore Schroeder

The unique effect of the Savannah Blanket is achieved by multiple textures in one blanket. We were able to achieve the design using our new 24-shaft Dornier machines. With twice as many shafts as our older machines, the creative possibilities allow for more complex pattern play.
