James Brown trained as a textile & surface pattern designer and worked in the clothing industry for 13 years before embarking on a new career as an illustrator in 2007. Alongside his commercial practice, James produces screen prints and linocuts that reflect his interest in printed and typographic ephemera. James lives and works in London.
